I've got a interview with the council for a admin role, any tips/advice please?

I really want this job!!I've got a interview with the council for a admin role, any tips/advice please?
Good luck with the interview.

Re-read the job role, familiar yourself with it.

Ask yourself what are your strengths and weaknesses.

Think about what questions they may ask and how you might answer?

Ask yourself why the should give YOU the job, what can you bring to the job.

Enter the room with confidence, smile, shake hands, look smart. Only sit when invited to.

If you don't know the answer to a question, don't say ';I don't know';. Ask them to explain what they mean if you can and you may be better set to answer.

Ask them questions about the job, show them you know what you are applying for (so many people dont). Loo at the council website for information, recent events, something, anything to ask them about.

try not to look to clever and tell them that you get your aspiration from their (councillors) ability to get paid for doing nothing.
be smart, confident, clear, precise %26amp; specific ..
Wear your shortest skirt.

Demonstate that you are well organised and have experience of administrative work. Emphasise your IT skills because so much admin work is carried out on a p.c. Explain that you have good skills in English and grammar and that your letter writing skills are good. Also point out that you work hard and will keep on top of your workloads. Good luck
