At 10 months, you are just at the time where maybe you should start looking for help. If you know when you are ovulating, then you have probably taken the early steps of charting and temping, etc.

The first step to see a fertility specialist is scary, and was hard for me because it looked like such a long road ahead. But I finally went late last year. I had a doctor who tried Clomid with me for 4 months, then gave up completely. I moved on, found a better, very respected specialist- and waited on his waiting list 4 months to see him.

If you told me when I first went in that it would take a year to sort things out, I would have been devastated. But at the same time, if you told me that within a year I would be pregnant, I would have been excited. Its hard yet encouraging to take that first step- you will suddenly have hope, but be frustrated that it may not happen the first time.

When you are TTC, you want it to happen right now. Not later.

I would get in to a specialist as soon as you could. You may not even need help- it may be a simple issue of timing or something. If you do need more help, don't let yourself get down. It can turn into a cycle of hope and optimism mixed in with despair and frustration.Me %26amp; my partner have been ttc for 10 months and still nothing is happening, does any1 have any tips or advice?
Have you had a pre-pregnancy screening? It really is a great idea to call up your ob or gyn and get one. It helps you to know what you are up against from the get go. 10 months of ttc with no results to me says you could use a little assistance. Clomid is a great easy drug to help you to ovulate if you are not. A great tip is progesterone suppositories once you ovulate to hopefully keep the egg to stick and not miscarry. Good luck. Good tip by other answer that I agree with 100% is have sex every other day. Calculate your dates and why not invest in ovulations strips. DONT forget to have fun!
what I would recommend is that just having sex more is not sufficient. My gyno suggested we have it every alternate day and everday when I am towards the middle of the cycle. This way, me maximize chances of making a baby as each cycle is different.

Next what you can do is consult with your gyno as to what are the next steps you can take to get pregnant faster.

Since my cycles were irregular, my gyno recommended me to get on Clomid(to induce ovulation) and Prometrium(to induce periods when -ve pregnancy test).

I got pregnant right away but ended up in ectopic... now will again start with clomid soon.

So, tell your situation exactly to your gyno and she will be able to recommend something beneficial to you from her experience.
