Anyone have any advice or tips about waxing?

I'm thinking about going to get my ENTIRE personal area waxed professionally. I always shave down there but this time i want it to be super smooth. Does anyone have any tips or advice? should i let everything grow out a bit before getting it done? should i buy some type of after cream or does it usually not hurt?

i would recommend a good blacksmith a bottle of ky personal lubricant and heavy amounts of percocets
