Need any advice or tips for adult feamle english bulldog?

my dog is about 8 yrs old. spayed. i had her at my brothers house for 3 days without 1 accident and now that she is back home she has had 1-2 accidents a day. i dont know what to do. she knows if she barks we let her out because she does it all the time. but not anymore she just goes when she wants.Need any advice or tips for adult feamle english bulldog?
Have her checked by the vet for a urinary tract infection, or other medical issues. If that all checks out ok, it might be a stress/behavioral issue and a little reinforcement in house training (using a crate and taking her out very often even if she doesn't ask to be let out to prevent an accident) may be in order.Need any advice or tips for adult feamle english bulldog?
Please call your Vet and have her checked out. It's odd that a grown dog would do this and you need to rule out any medical issues first!


If the problem is not medical -


Back to the crate for her. She's showing you that she's not completely house trained. Don't leave her unsupervised in the house and do not punish her if she makes a mistake.
She may have felt uncomfortable at your brothers and didn't bark for him to let her out. Did he let her out on his schedule and she conformed to that?





She could be having accidents because she 'forgot' she was housebroken. She could need to be retrained for a little bit.





Also, she may associate going outside now with being away from home. She might think that if she messes in the house she won't have to go away again.





In any event, be sure to give her lots of love and praise when she goes outside. Definitly don't punish her if she goes in the house and you don't catch her doing it.
