Very big interview for customer service position, any tips or advice?

Huge interview w/ Humana for customer service position. Any tips, advice given the position I'm applying for as well.Very big interview for customer service position, any tips or advice?
Treat the interviewer the way you would a customer. They need to see professionalism, courtesy, an unflappable demeanor and resourcefulness. You should also show enthusiasm about getting this position. A while back, I interviewed (as a consultant) for a company to get a position I had every qualification for and then some. I didn't get it, and my staff manager told me the interviewer said I didn't seem excited about working for this company (and as I look back, I'm not sure I was). So that's very important.

I think it would indicate a serious interest in the position if you took short notes about key points, to help you remember. If he/she doesn't offer you a business card, make sure you get a name and title for the post-interview thank you letter. Also, when I was starting out, they'd almost always end the interview by asking if I had any questions, which I was never prepared for -- not a good thing. So you might want to think about a couple-three questions you might want to ask the interviewer. Not basic things about the company, not in this day and age, with the Internet (you should definitely hit the company website -- read the ';About the Company'; page, see where they're located and a few of the most recent news items), but job-specific stuff the interviewer might not cover.

Don't know what to tell you about asking about pay and benefits -- they seem to cover that themselves these days. You need to play that by ear.

Hope your interview goes well. God bless.Very big interview for customer service position, any tips or advice?

try to bring in ur interst in the job position genuinely during the interview, relate ur objectives in life to this career and how it would be beneficial for boththe company and you to be given this position. most important don't take any notes becoz this shows that u are not confident, which is the most demanded attribute during the interview
Just show your friendly personality and be confident! Doing customer service work requires the ability to communicate well, so make sure you are clear on anything you say. It is actually a good idea to bring a notebook and pen to take a few notes - if necessary. This shows genuine interest in the job. I said ';a few'; not a whole lot. Don't sit there and write down everything like you are taking minutes at a meeting, just a few small notes here and there if there is something in particular you want to remember. However, do not read ';cliffs notes'; during your interview or anything like that to remind yourself what to say! :)

Remember... have good eye contact. So don't be looking down at a notebook the whole time. Just have it there *in case* you want to jot down a quick note!
You should note you realize the dual nature of the position. You will have to empathize with the customer's issues, but you understand and respect the stance of the company. You also realize that you need to act for the best action towards the company.

Also you should mention that you realize the workload is unexpected from day to day - few inquires to many inquiries may happen which is unpredictable, and you're okay with it.
