Make a budget first. Decide what you can afford and what is unnecessary. See if your parents or his parents can chip in for stuff. How many people would you like for a guest list? What will you serve at a reception? A sit down dinner, or buffet style with cheap catering? Or even a small get-together in somebody's backyard.





Will you be married in a church? If so, arrange to see if the church will accept you if you're not 'pure'. If not in a church, check availability of venues where you can have the ceremony and reception in the same place for a discounted rate where they will also cater (like a hotel usually).
First, get a date and get the church and place for the reception booked. Then do the most fun part: Wedding Dress Shopping!! By finding the perfect dress it will set a tone for the wedding. Then start picking out bridesmaid dresses, and colors. I recommend hiring a decorator, they are worth the money. My decorator did all the setup, all the flowers, and all the take down for around $2500 and it was the most beautiful I have ever seen the place where we had our reception. I still get compliments to this day about how pretty it was.





I recommend making your own invitations there are so many nice do it your self kits out there now days %26amp; it can really save a lot of money. Also do your programs yourself, go to a craft store or even an office store and get some nice linen paper %26amp; wholah you will have nice cheap programs. A nice favor idea is to make a CD of your favorite songs; songs that may hold an important meaning to you %26amp; give out to your guests. A CD sure beats a pack of matches anyway.





Also, I had at our wedding a sildeshow of photos of my husband %26amp; I growing up %26amp; then dating. It was a nice touch and people really like that too.

To save a lot of money, shop for a second hand dress ..I got a designer dress for $500.00 from word of mouth ..a girl that my best friend worked with got married last year and she paid full price which was crazy and it fit perfect!!


I also went with an outdoor wedding which cost nothing and thought of my own ideas for flowers and supplied them with everything so it was much cheaper. I put sewing pins with pearls on the end in the middle of the red roses to give it a elegant look with white ribbon!! :) For 4 bouquets and 5 boboutonnieres it cost $200.00, worked for me!! :)

Book the church or location of the ceremony. Book the location of the reception. Too big ones right there. You will plan everything else out around that. Get bridesmaids and groomsmen.
you should make a shaped sized cake...like what you or your fiance likes, like a dressed shaped cake...


maybe give a show for the audience, dance for them, or hire musicians or something



it depends if u like nature get married outside


or at the beach


if u like inside weddings get a church


but my advice is dont say ';nothing can go wrong i want this day 2 be perfect'; if u say that i garantee u something is going to go wrong

then design your wedding on what you dream it to be...





and be calm all the time...
