Having great difficulty getting a good night's sleep at the moment - any advice or tips?

So as it says really - sleeping really badly. Struggling to get to sleep at all or if I do waking up with a start after a short time.

Have tried things like Nytol but I don't find them that good, and they seem to make me feel even worse in the mornings.

Help!Having great difficulty getting a good night's sleep at the moment - any advice or tips?
You must know about counting sheep for one! I have trouble sleeping and find a bath helps and trying to empty your mind of many of the things that must be stopping yo from switching off. Sometimes writing a few things down helps and tiring yourself out somehow. If the natural ways fail then get a short script for tablets...usually a few days is enough to help. Often the root of insomnia is anxiety.

Hope that helps and you feel better soon....I'm sure I can think of others if they don't work :)Having great difficulty getting a good night's sleep at the moment - any advice or tips?
