Incoming freshman to a new school, any tips/advice?

any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated! gosh im so nervous, new school, basically the beginning of a new chapter in life. any tips? thanks!Incoming freshman to a new school, any tips/advice?
Be yourself.


Always do your homework.


Be nice to everybody.


Join a sport/club


If you need extra help in a class ask for it.


Keep your makeup natural.


Wear clothes YOU like.

Be yourself and be confident in yourself and your abilities. Do not get outta line with people. Be kind and respectful. Do your work. Start small talk with some people who you like. Ask them the time. If there's anything that you don't like and you know they don't like it either comment on it (as long as your not being mean to sum1 else). You could say, ';Don't you hate it when it rains......etc (you get it right?





Anyways also you can ask for people to show/tell you where certain things are and say hi to those you spoke to.





Most importantly, if you have a talent like singing drawing or writing, don't be scared to share it!
freshman year was so fun for me. unless you have older *** hole grades, everyone will be open and accepting to the oncoming freshmen. just know that there will be some people who make fun of u but its only because your a freshman. so just ignore those people and enjoy being a freshman with your friends because your only a freshman once... i am going to be a junior... so i know
start fresh. NO **** talking...even if friends that you do make start to, just brush it off, do not join in. you have 4 years to go, no enemies your first year need to be made lol.


dress comfy, i always wore the t shirt and shorts and sneakers. no label there. freshman class judges big time. its not really a big deal. you are there to help get yourself into a good college, not make friends. remember that.


STAY OUT OF FIGHTS
-Don't get into the wrong crowd.


-Pay attention in school.


-Listen to your parents.


-Don't talk about people behind there backs.


-Trust no one.


-Don't wear Abercrombie, Hollister, AE or Aeropostle.


-Be yourself and don't let anyone change you.

Don't do anything stupid and also join a sport even if ur not good at anything, cuz u can make a lot of friends.
